  1. PROMIS measures were scored on a T-score metric, with standard population values for mean scores (50) and standard deviation (10). In this table a mean value above 50 indicates that for that chronic pain grade there would be higher sleep disturbance, anxiety, or dyspnea in that group compared to the general US population. A mean value below 50 would indicated lower values in comparison to the general US population
