Histomorphometry in the cancellous sites at 4 weeks revealed differences between the Ti HA and Ti plasma in the 2-mm and 1-mm gap and press fit conditions (P < 0.05) while no differences were detected in the line to line implantation or press fit conditions. Histomorphometry in the cancellous sites at 12 weeks revealed a difference between groups in the press fit conditions (P < 0.05). No other differences were detected at 12 weeks
