Cell adhesion of rabbit BMSCs was measured by Cell Counting Kit-8 assay 3 h after cell suspension was added into 96-well plates containing β-TCP-DPI or pure β-TCP scaffolds. The average OD value of the former was higher than the latter, suggesting that the number of adherent cells on β-TCP-DPI scaffolds was more than that of pure β-TCP scaffolds. The result indicated that the adhesion of rabbit BMSCs to β-TCP-DPI scaffolds was enhanced compared with pure β-TCP scaffolds. Data was expressed as mean ± standard deviation; n = 3; P = 0.033
