Synthetic bone models of the whole pelvis with bone defects. Among forty synthetic bone specimens, both acetabuli of twenty specimens were cut with an electrical saw to generate posterior segmental defects (a), with a maximum width of 20 mm in the posterior 9’o-clock direction (yellow dotted line).
