A 49 years-old female was diagnosed with posttraumatic thoracolumbar kyphosis. A, B The X-ray indicated that the L1 vertebra suffered from an old burst fracture with a local cobb angle of 22°kyphosis. C MRI showed compression of the dural sac and anterior displacement of the spinal conus. D, E X-ray showed that the opening of the anterior intervertebral space was good and the recovery of the spinal sequence was satisfactory two weeks after the operation. F CT showed that the spine sequence was good and the fixation was firm at the final follow-up
