  1. AP length—distance between medial sesamoid bone of first metatarsophalangeal joint and tuberosity of calcaneus; Elevation—Elevation of distal insertional point of calcaneal tendon

A negative value of the plantar aponeurosis changes indicates a shortening. A positive value of elevation of the distal insertional point of the calcaneal tendon indicates functional relief
