A 65-year-old man who had left ankle pain for 4.5 years that was then aggravated for 1 week. The fusion image shows that the lateral fornix of the left talus was locally fractured and the articular surface was not smooth. Multiple small capsular hypodense shadows can be seen underneath it, with obvious sclerosis of the edges. A larger cystic hypointense shadow can be seen below the anterior part of the small cyst, and a narrow channel can be seen connecting with the articular surface. The local bone cortex was not continuous.
