Hip was reconstructed at the level of the anatomic hip center by cementless modular (Helios, Valencia, Biomet, Spain) total hip arthroplasty combined with transverse osteotomy and the osteotomy site was wrapped with the osteotomy fragments, stabilized using cerclage wires. Reconstruction of the acetabulum with screws was performed. c Postoperative radiographic image at 16-month follow-up, bone union was detected at the osteotomy site and no radiolucent lines around the femoral stem were found
