Total active range of motion (TAM) and pinching strength in those with other phalangeal avulsion fractures (others) were better than in those with mallet fractures. The disabilities of the arm, shoulder, and hand (DASH) score for other phalangeal fractures was lower than that for mallet fractures, but this difference was not significant.
