Naringin stimulated OPG mRNA in hip periprosthetic membrane-derived fibroblasts. The fibroblasts were treated with naringin at various concentrations (50 μM, 100 μM, 150 μM) or in medium alone (control group) for 6 h. a RANKL mRNA and b OPG mRNA expression was examined by real-time RT-PCR. Naringin did not increase RANKL mRNA but enhanced OPG mRNA in a dose-dependent manner (ap < 0.01, bp < 0.001)
