Two studies reported the Harris hip score (HHS) at 3 months and two studies reported the HSS at 6 months, and the results showed no significant statistical difference between the 2 groups at 3 months (MD 2.82, 95% CI − 3.14 to 8.78, P = 0.35, I2 = 72%) and at 6 months (MD 0.16, 95% CI − 2.06 to 2.37, P = 0.89, I2 = 78%)
