Stiffness. Stiffness was calculated as the slope of the linear portion of the load-displacement curve for each adjuvant group and time point. Samples treated with foam sanitizer had significantly (p < 0.0001) reduced stiffness as compared to control, liquid soap, and ultrasound gel groups at each time point, but other groups were not different from one another. Each data point represents an independent sample.
