In vitro expression of chondrocyte degeneration by IL-1β stimulation. Normal chondrocytes were treated with IL-1β (10 ng/ml) for 24 h (a). qPCR detected the expression of COL2A1, ADAMTS5, MMP13 and miR-21-5p (b). Western blot analysis showing the expression of COL2A1, ADAMTS5, MMP13 in normal and IL-1β treated chondrocytes. β-actin expression and U6 were detected as an endogenous control.
