Number of multinucleated giant cells for all test groups at 1 and 4 weeks post-implantation. A statistically significant difference was found between FiberWire intact suture and FiberWire particles at both time points. There were no significant differences found in the number of multinucleated giant cells counted between intact suture groups at either time point.
