This includes a curved incision over 1 cm proximal to the anterior inferior iliac spine (AIIS) and a transverse incision one fingerbreadth superior to the pubic symphysis. Rod was placed submuscularly under the major neurovascular bundles. There are at least a few centimeters between the screw and LFCN, to prevent compression through this region
