Suramin inhibited fibroblast proliferation. After treating with suramin for 48 h at doses of 0, 200, 400, 600 mg/l, CCK-8 assay (a) and western blot assay of the expression of cell proliferation markers (cyclinD1, cyclinE, and PCNA) were used to detect cell proliferation (b). The expression of cyclinD1, cyclinE, and PCNA was decreased in a dose-dependent manner.
