The inferior tip of the scapular body, the center of the glenoid surface, and the root of the scapular spine (the triangle made by the black dotted lines) are selected to determine the scapular plane (the plane surrounded by red lines). The plane including the scapular axis, which is defined as the line connecting the root of the scapular spine and the center of the glenoid surface (the black solid lines), and perpendicular to the scapular plane is reconstructed as the three-dimensionally corrected slice (the plane surrounded by blue lines).
