Values represent the means ± standard deviation (SD) of eight rats. OA, osteoarthritis; AO, operation day; BT, 1 day before start of treatment; AT, start day of administration; AS, at sacrifice. All animals were fasted overnight prior to the start of administration and sacrifice.
