As the maturation and organization of collagen fibers increased, the green staining changed to yellow and then orange at the repaired tendon-to-bone site. The amount and maturity of collagen fibers were similar in the repair only and the repair + P407 specimens. Fewer and less mature collagen fibers were observed in the repair + CS specimens.
