  1. This table shows the relative abundance of gene expression in mineralizing MC3T3-E1 cells after 24 hours of treatment with FGF-2 (5 ng) or BMP-2 (100 ng). Total RNA was harvested 24 hours after the addition using Qiagen RNeasy kit. A two-step RT-qPCR was preformed. Each data point represents the mean ± SD of three biological independent samples. *p < 0.05; **p < 0.01; ***p < 0.0001 against 0 hour control samples with 2 tail student t test.
