Properties were expressed as a percentage of the intact femur. This graph shows the stiffness ratio with Group 1 achieving up to 60% the stiffness of the contra-lateral bone, which was the highest among the groups and was significantly higher than that of the control group. Statistical analysis was carried out using non-parametrical tests, displaying distributions by means of boxplots and comparing groups with the Mann Whitney U test. Difference between groups was considered significant at *p < 0.05.
